Brief project description:

The project consists of three dialogue boards focusing on the involvement of nature, environmental, leisure, sport and tourism associations in the implementation of the national strategy on biological diversity (2007) in the field of tourism and nature leisure activities. It is part of the federal dialogue boards on sustainable use of natural landscapes (esp. sports and tourism). The project is related to the following objects of chapters B.2.9 and C13 of the national strategy on biological diversity:

• Basing leisure and tourism products on ecologically sound principles,
• Decreasing the negative impacts of tourism within ecologically sensitive areas,
• Enhancing the development of environmentally friendly products and integrating the experience of nature into other tourism products,
• Enhancing the number of environmental oriented tourism providers and tourism products.
